Creating / Editing a Customer
1. Locating the Customer List
Navigate to BoB2 → Customers → BoB Customers and press the “Add New” button in the top-right corner.
2. Customer List
You will be displayed the Customer List, from here you can search for Customers using the search facility at the top. View Customers details by clicking the “Edit” button next to the Customer you want to edit. You can also add a new Customer by pressing “Add New” in the top right corner.
3. Customer Add/Edit Screen
After pressing “Add New” or the “Edit” button next to the Customer row, you will be displayed with the Customer Edit Screen.
For a new Customer ensure you have entered the mandatory details (marked with a red *) such as…
- Password
- First name
- Last name
- Address Line 1
- Address Line 2
- City
- County
- Postcode
- Phone Number
- Customer Role (This is defaulted as Registered which is fine for normal Customers. You can add another role for a Price List)
- Active (Ensure this is checked)
- Trade Account (Check this if the Customer is Trade)
Once entered you can press “Save” or “Save and Continue Edit” which will create the Customer account, it will also create an associated Address for the Customer. You can check this by clicking the “Address” tab on the Customer Edit Screen
