Importing Listings From eBay
Located in BoB Configuration → eBay → Products
This will display the eBay Listings import facility and the list of eBay Listings already imported in the grid below.
From this screen we have some options at the top…
- Get Specific Listing – Allows you to enter a specific listing ID from eBay and then pull it down to BoB. This helps when copying listings from within eBay and quickly pulling them back down to sync.
- Get Listings From eBay – This will import ALL of the listings in eBay from the connected eBay store. It will use the CustomLabel to find a match a match with the SKU of Bob Products in the system (this will be either a like for like match or will look to take the value from the right of any Custom Label separator added e.g. 231223MX5SI2343 would look to take SI2343 and match with a Bob Product). If it is able to find a match then you can view that Bob Product Edit screen and you will see that listing connected via the eBay Mapping tab. For the eBay Listings that cannot find a match then you can view those from the “Unlinked eBay Listings” grid (via the next section).
- Link Listings – Uses the eBay_Product.SKU to find a matching Product record in Bob2 via the Product.SKU and then UPDATES the eBay_Product.ProductId if there is a match. ELSE will leave unlinked. (Note: This button also exists on the Unlinked eBay Listings grid, please act on the Unlinked eBay Listings in the next section before pressing this button.)
NOTE: After Importing the eBay Listings, the listings grid below on this screen will be updating (this can take some time and is continuous so please allow some time for all to be imported.)
Linking Unlinked eBay Listings
Located in BoB Configuration → eBay → Unlinked eBay Products
This screen will display the eBay Listings that were unable to find a match via their Custom Label or SKU (after the separator) with a Bob Product, therefore they are not linked to any Bob Product. In order to fix this, you must create a Bob Product (go to BoB2 -> Products -> Product List and press “Add New” and begin creating a Product that has a SKU that matches the exact SKU shown for the Unlinked eBay Listing on the grid. Once done you can press “Link Listings”.
- Link Listings – Uses the eBay_Product.SKU to find a matching Product record in Bob2 via the Product.SKU and then UPDATES the eBay_Product.ProductId if there is a match. ELSE will leave unlinked.
