Creating a Shipment

After following the Packing guide you will arrive at the “Create Shipment” screen. If you have not followed that guide, please go here…

Packing Guide

Once at  the “Create Shipment” screen you will first need to define the Products you will be sending in this Shipment. Please do so by checking the items on the grid at the top of the screen.

Selecting a Courier

After defining the Products you wish to send within the Shipment you can then define the Courier you wish to send the Shipment via by pressing on the buttons per courier in the lower-right corner. Once you click on a Courier button you will notice the window on the right will change the data you must input.

  • ShipTheory Couriers – Couriers with ShipTheory include Royal Mail, Tuffnells, SkyNet, DHL.You will notice a Courier button for each of these (if your company uses them, you can check the full list of supported couriers here https://shiptheory.com/#integrations). Requires NoOfBoxes, TotalWeight and Service.
  • Invoice Only – Invoice Only is where we are only sending the invoice and actually not dispatching it via any Courier. Requires NoOfBoxes, TotalWeight and Service.
  • ThinkWW – Courier requested. Requires NoOfBoxes, TotalWeight.
  • Special Delivery – This is where we opt to use a different courier.Requires NoOfBoxes, TotalWeight and Service and Tracking Reference.

Once you have selected the courier and entered the required data then press the “Create Shipment” button in green in the lower-right corner. This will re-display the Packing screen once more.

Confirming the Shipment

After you pressed the “Create Shipment” button we return to the Packing screen and the label will have been created and printed to the printer assigned to the PC (For ThinkWW, Special Delivery and ShipTheory Shipments). Note: If you have not setup or defined Printers against your User account then this will not work. In addition! Ensure “Auto Shipping” in the ShipTheory config is set.

  • Handling ShipTheory Error – If a label has not been printed and you selected a courier via ShipTheory. Press the “View” button next the Shipment line and look under the “Failed” tab in ShipTheory or search the Shipment number (Reference) or press the. You can view this tutorial (https://ibridge.co.uk/help/handling-error-shipments/) for handling errors with ShipTheory.
  • Checking ThinkWW– Visit this URL (https://thinkww.com/tracking/) and enter the tracking number found on the Packing screen Shipments grid (bottom of the page) called “Courier Reference”. This should appear in ThinkWW’s system. If it has not then please contact support.

If there are no errors and you are happy with the labels generated please press the “Confirm Shipment Details” button and you will notice the Status against the Shipment change from “New” to “Dispatched”.

Complete Packing

When you are ready to complete the packing. Please enter a value that matches the “No Of Items Picked” and then press the “Packing Complete” button. When successful this will display the Packing list.

PLEASE NOTE: You can only Complete Packing when there are no Products left to Ship and there are no Shipments with Status = New. Please ensure Shipments are of Status = “Dispatched” OR “Cancelled”
