Cost Price Forward Pointer Setup
- After entering the required details for the new Forward Pointer Type Product created. Go to the ‘Forward Pointer Information’ tab (at the bottom), this tab gives an overview of the Forward Pointers statistics related to its cost, price, components, margin, type and naming details.
- Set Forward Pointer Type = Cost. Change Cost = 10 if you would like to sell at 10% above the Cost Price. Then press “Save” on the Forward Pointer Information tab.
Adding and Configuring Components
- Once Saved and the Bundle has been defined. Return to the Forward Pointer Information tab and you can add a component using the “Add New” button in the bottom left of the tab underneath the “Component Data” grid. Once pressed, this will display a Product Search screen for you to find the components you want to add. Once found, press the “Add New” button adjacent to the Product row.
- Once you return to the Forward Pointer product, go to the Forward Pointer Information tab once again and here you can set the Build Qty (usually 1) for the Component added.
Saving the Forward Pointer
- Press the “Save” button on the Forward Pointer Information tab.
- After this has saved, go to the top of the overall Product and press the “Save” button in the top-right corner.
